As Head of Industry, you'll own Carbmee's positioning and growth strategy across the German automotive sector: shaping how we approach the industry, building the relationships that matter, and driving the deals that define our footprint in it.

Your tasks
- Define and drive Carbmee's go-to-market strategy for the automotive industry, with a primary focus on the DACH region
- End-to-end ownership of the sales cycle for our most strategic automotive prospects, from lead generation and pre-qualification to negotiation and final closing
- Build and use your network to open doors at the highest levels of organizations, and stay ahead of developments shaping the industry
- Building trust with leads and customers comes naturally to you and you love turning conversations into lasting relationships
- Lead and hold presentations and demonstrations for potential clients, representing Carbmee as the industry expert in the room
- Build your own strategy to contact and acquire prospective clients through a variety of mediums, from LinkedIn and other network platforms to phoning, emailing or meeting in person
- Work closely with other teams and colleagues in the Revenue department to help align offerings with the needs of automotive clients
- Keep transparency on your sales pipeline, staying on top of administrative tasks and updating our CRM system
- Establish a cross-functional and collaborative relationship with other departments, such as Marketing, Product and Customer Success

Your profile
- Extensive working experience in enterprise SaaS sales within the B2B tech environment, ideally with deep exposure to the automotive industry specifically
- Native or fluent German and excellent English
- End-to-end experience in the sales process paired with excellent negotiation skills and strong business acumen
- Strong existing network and credibility within the industry; experience in manufacturing, aerospace, construction, machinery, chemicals, or logistics also makes you a strong candidate. Land and Expand strategy has been applied by you
- Clear understanding of the carbon emissions business and strong desire to play your part in guiding the automotive industry towards achieving a net-zero mission. Experience working in the climate tech industry is a strong plus
- Demonstrated success working with stakeholders to generate revenue and sales pipeline at scale
- Ability to collect and analyse market and competitor data to shape Carbmee's automotive industry strategy
- You have experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- You bring self-motivation and the ability to be motivated by targets, goals, OKRs/KPIs in alignment with our organisational objectives and strategy
- You rely on excellent organizational and prioritization skills and you can manage your tasks and your projects individually
- You are a supportive team player, results-oriented, metrics-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- A positive, open-minded, and strategic thinker with a proactive approach and a self-driven work attitude
- You are excited to join our diverse and international team in Munich. You are open to travel to our customers and our offices in Berlin and Munich on a regular basis
