As Key Account Manager, you'll own the relationship with our most strategic automotive accounts: deepening trust, driving expansion, and making sure the value we deliver is felt at every level of the account.

Your tasks

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic automotive accounts
  • Build deep, lasting relationships with key stakeholders across the account, from operational teams to executive sponsors
  • Identify and develop expansion opportunities within existing accounts, applying a Land and Expand strategy
  • Your approach is value-driven: you listen, understand evolving challenges, and provide tailored solutions that grow with the account
  • Lead business reviews, presentations, and demonstrations that reinforce the long-term value of the partnership
  • Work closely with other teams in the Revenue department, as well as Product and Customer Success, to make sure account needs are reflected in our roadmap and delivery
  • Keep transparency on your account pipeline, staying on top of administrative tasks and updating our CRM system
  • Stay on top of developments in the automotive and carbon management industry to anticipate account needs before they arise

Your profile

  • Extensive working experience in enterprise SaaS account management within the B2B tech environment, managing strategic, complex accounts
  • Native or fluent German and excellent English 
  • Proven track record of growing existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and renewal management, paired with strong relationship-building skills
  • Experience in the automotive industry is strongly preferred; experience in manufacturing, aerospace, construction, machinery, chemicals, or logistics also makes you a strong candidate
  • Clear understanding of the carbon emissions business and strong desire to play your part in guiding the automotive industry towards achieving a net-zero mission. Experience working in the climate tech industry is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated success working with stakeholders to retain and grow revenue within existing accounts
  • Ability to collect and analyse account and market data to inform expansion and partnership strategy
  • You have experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • You bring self-motivation and the ability to be motivated by targets, goals, OKRs/KPIs in alignment with our organisational objectives and strategy
  • You rely on excellent organizational and prioritization skills and you can manage your accounts and projects individually
  • You are a supportive team player, results-oriented, metrics-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • A positive, open-minded, and strategic thinker with a proactive approach and a self-driven work attitude
  • You are excited to join our diverse and international team in Munich. You are open to travel to our customers and our offices in Berlin and Munich on a regular basis
